Let it Snow

This is what I woke up to this morning. You can’t really tell, but the snow is still falling in this picture and has been all day. I also woke up to the news that my kiddos who attend online high school would be getting a snow day. How is that possible? They’ve never before had a snow day. When your school is in your house, on your laptop, weather doesn’t generally effect it much. Well, today was supposed to be proctored finals day for the semester which meant traveling to an in-person testing location. Snow days at schools all around us and a snow day for their finals as well. Looks like we’ll be making that trip another day this week.

The thing that really amused me this morning was the card I had prepared to put on the blog today. It is definitely appropriate–“let it snow” with snow falling all around. There aren’t any mountains as I look out the window, but there is lots of snow falling.
