Father’s Day Ties
A Father’s Day card is the perfect card for a Masculine Card Challenge. And, this post happens to catch us up on all weekly Facebook LIVEs through last week. You can now not only access them on Facebook, but also on YouTube and here on my blog.
The original card created during the Facebook LIVE was a Mother’s Day card. I used the same design to create a Fatherr’s Day Version of this card. Both cards utilizes Designer Series Paper for the first card layer: Mother’s Day = Flowers for Every Season DSP; Father’s Day = Well Suited DSP. The second smaller layer on both cards was dry embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Both had the word Happy stamped on white and punched out. Both had die cuts that matched the Designer Series Paper of their card adhered to the top layer. And, both had their holiday words die cut and adhered on top of the die.
It just goes to show you that you can use the same design to make cards for any occasion and you don’t automatically notice the similarities.
