Sneek Peak: Sparkle of the Season Fall Wreath

I’ve been having so much fun playing with my pre-order from the January-June 2021 Stampin’ Up! mini catalog. I’ve been mostly creating Christmas cards, but today I decided to play with fall for a little bit. Somehow, I know Christmas in July is a thing, but creating fall cards during the middle of the summer somehow feels wrong. Somehow I have it in my head that fall cards shouldn’t start until August. What do you think? Why do I think that?

The piece of Watercolor Paper used for the top layer of this card is 3 1/2″ x 5 1/4″. To create the border of the Beauty of the Earth paper behind it, I took a card front layer (4″ x 5 1/4″) and cut it in half lenthwise to allow it to be pulled out a little farther to see more of the DSP layer.

There are lots of different wreath options in the Sparkle of the Season Bundle–both dies and stamps. I had such a great time creating a fall wreath this time and loved the additional leaves and pumpkin die.

I predict you’ll be seeing lots of different varieties of wreaths over the next few months.

    1. Thanks Joanne. I was going for a diamond or rhombus shape, not sure if you could quite see that.
