Ready for Back to School?

Turning August means back to school around here. Enrollment was last week for us. I hardly know what to do with the fact that the only enrollment I had to do was my son who is a Junior in High School. How is that possible? How am I the parent of a college graduate and a High School Junior? I mean I only graduated from High School myself a few years ago, right? It’s not possible for me to have such grown up children. I feel barely old enough to be adulting myself.

I used the Spiral Dye stamp to make a fun background layer for this card. The feature is the desk all set up for learning and the first day of school. I don’t know about you, but I don’t go to a school building, but I really like the thought of new sharp pencils and/or crayons, clean paper for creating, and an unread book just waiting to teach me something new.

Maybe I’ll celebrate learning here at home on the first day of school and learn something new myself.
