Change Can Be Beautiful

Change? Do you love it? Does it scare you? Do you automatically assume change is bad? I have to admit, I don’t love change. I get to a place where things are finally working the way I want them to AND BAM!!! CHANGE! Time to learn and experience something new.

It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad change. Graduations are all about change and they’re really about celebrating the success of finishing a long road of learning something new. Change can lead to bigger, better things. A new house, a new job, new friendships, marriage, a new baby.

Those are the big things, but small changes can be beautiful as well. A new haircut or color, finding just the right shirt that makes your eyes shine, trying a new food to find your new favorite.

Change Can Be Good

Changes can be good. Change can be painful. Change can be painful and good at the same time. But, change is inevitable. And, we would be super bored if everything stayed 100% the same, 100% of the time.

Change can be beautiful. It may take some time before we feel that way about it or it may take some time before it can realistically be called beautiful. Our job when change comes is to be sad and grieve for a moment, and then figure out what is good about the change. How will this change positively impact your life? What about it can you give thanks for? How can you use this change to positively impact you and those around you? And, what other changes do you need to make to be able to live a successful, peaceful, joyful life?

Pink card with white layer on front with strips of Sun Print patterned paper. Diecut pink butterflies and brass butterfly embellishments are flying across the page. Sentiment says "Your friendship is as bragworthy as a dress with pockets.:

Card Details

This card celebrates the beauty of change by celebrating butterflies and sun print DSP. Sun prints could be created by gathering your own flowers, arranging them on sun art paper, and leave them in the sun to complete the transformation into beautiful art. Or, you could purchase the gorgeous Sun Prints DSP from Stampin’ Up! that is already transformed into beautiful art.

The other beautiful change featured on this card is that of the butterflies. There are both die cut butterflies and Brushed Brass Butterflies flying off the page and adding beauty to this card.
