Sunshine and Daisies
For today’s card I had a bit of fun using a variety of techniques to add color to the card as well as a chance to play with a couple of punches. I am not generally a lover of yellow and orange, but the day was so sunny and pleasant, the brightly colored daisies seemed appropriate today.
I added color in several ways:
- Classic ink pad
- Added watercolor pencil coloring to flower stems
- Medium daisy punched cardstock
- Mango Medley color added to Whisper White cardstock and then punched out
- Daisies stamped in various colors, punched out, and then edges sponged in same color
I also played with color on the inside of the card. I punched out six hearts in the colors of the rainbow and then glued them to each other and the card to create a pop up rainbow heart element on the inside of the card.
