Card with turquoise background with polka dots. Card is layred with black and white printed paper with flowers, some are colored yellow and two strips of paper: 1 yellow, 1 green. The top layer is a circle with a stamp of a white cat wearing a silver crown.
Sentiment says, "Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men.--J.W.v. Goethe"

Card Details

This card was made to celebrate the queens or princesses in our lives. The card itself starts with a pre-printed card from the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes set. Next, layers of patterned paper are added. Next, a circle with a stamped white cat wearing a silver crown. Finally, an inspiring and encouraging sentiment is added.

How do you fill in a line art stamp with heat embossing? How did I make the entire crown silver and not just the outline?

  • Using the Stamparatus, stamp the crown with Versamark
  • Add embossing powder
  • Brush off any embossing powder not on the crown (i.e. the cats ears)
  • Heat emboss crown.
  • Using the Stamparatus, stamp the entire cat image in black.
  • Fill in the center of the crown with Versamark using a Blender Pen.
  • Add embossing powder and heat emboss.
Inside of card says, "Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much. Helen Keller" in turquoise. And "Girl Power" in black ink with a turquoise heart.

The inside of the card celebrates my favorite part of Ms. Wheelchair–the sisterhood. We are stronger and better together.
