A Starry Night

A Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh is my favorite painting. The title of the bundle from Stampin’ Up! that I used on this card is Stars by Night. But, I just can’t help referring to it as a starry night. 🙂

This bundle comes with stamps, dies, AND an embossing folder. That gives you so many options for adding gorgeous stars to your project.

I embossed a panel in the same color as the card base to add dimension and interest in the first layer. Then, I added shimmer ribbon horizontally across the card. A sentiment rectangle was added diagonally on top of the ribbon with edges sponged in the same Misty Moonlight color as the card base, first layer, and sentiment ink. Finally, my focal point image of a layered star in sparkling metallic glimmer paper finished the card.
