A weekend Treat

I’m getting excited about this weekend. If you live in the Wichita, Kansas area or close enough to drive on over on a Sunday afternoon, you too can enjoy this weekend treat.

Kansas Disabled Artists is having their first ever pop up show. Come check out the amazing work by these artists, meet them in person, and even get to purchase some art donated specifically as a fundraiser for Ms. Wheelchair Kansas/Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas. Oh, and do you want even more fun? Ms. Wheelchair Kansas 2022 and Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas 2022 will be there in person.

Up for a special weekend treat? Come on by The Hereafter downtown Wichita, Kansas on Sunday, October 23 from 1-5pm.

Project Details

There will be all kinds of artists at this weekend’s show. I am a paper artist and I will be there, so you will be able to see many of my cards. Specifically for this weekend, I have been working on these treat paper crackers.

There are many in fall and Halloween options. There is an amazing new die cut in the Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog that cuts and scores this treat cracker all in one pass through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

How to Make the Cracker Treat Box

  • One sheet of 6″ x 6″ patterned paper
  • One pass through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Cracker & Treat Box Dies
  • VOILA–You have a cut and scored treat box die.
  • Score and glue two outside sections together
  • Tie one end closed with ribbon
  • Fill with candy or treat of your choice
  • Tie other end closed with ribbon
  • Decorate however you choose

  1. Angel… sounds like a wonderful weekend. Wishing you great success at your show. Love your cracker… I so love when holiday table settings include a cracker. Never thought about making my own… great idea. Love the fall stamping! Thanks so much for joining and sharing at TicTacToe this week!

    1. Thanks Elizabeth. The weekend was great and the customers loved the Halloween crackers too. 🙂 As soon as Stampin’ Up! came out with a cracker die set, I knew I would be making lots of them for every holiday.
