Amazing Patterned Paper

One of the easiest ways to create gorgeous cards is to use amazing patterned paper. There is some patterned paper available out there that shines on it’s own with nothing else needed.

Why not take advantage of this beautiful art and use it as the hero on your card. This paper is so beautiful all you need for a gorgeous card is a piece of Designer Series Paper on the front of a coordinating color of cardstock and add a sentiment.

Want to bring even more attention to part of it? Create a frame that highlights a part of your paper. And to make it feel even more special? Add ribbon and/or embellishments.

I was looking through Cynthia’s blog to find a card to CASE for this challenge and ran across this one.

I loved the way the patterned paper was showcased on this card and the flowers were framed and popped up with dimensionals to make them even more of a focus.

I decided to CASE the sketch and use a different patterned paper featuring a different flower and different colors. I also CASEd the sentiment and added a happy birthday sentiment with a bow behind the sentiment label.
