Birthday Adventure

When your birthday rolls around, do you make a point to have a birthday adventure? What if it’s a milestone birthday? This year happens to be my son’s 20th birthday. Definitely a milestone when you move out of your teens.

He is definitely having a birthday adventure for this milestone birthday. It wasn’t exactly planned to be this big of an adventure, but the timing worked out just right. When he was a Senior in high school, he was able to sign up for an overseas trip happening this summer. And, it just so happens he will be turning 20 while he is gone.

That’s what I call a birthday adventure! Anything that requires an airplane to get there across an ocean definitely counts as an adventure.

Wonder what kind of adventure I get for my milestone birthday this year?

What kind of birthday adventures have you had?

Blue card with green map background paper. Topped with three strips of patterned paper--clouds, airplanes, topical map. Printed rectangle with several vintage planes flying through the clouds on top. Sentiment strip says "Happy Birthday."

Card Details

Do you like patterned paper but aren’t sure how to combine patterns that look good together? I want to help turn your crafting stress into success.

When you choose a package of Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!® the patterns will coordinate together perfectly. Each package will tell you the exact color names used in the paper, so choosing cardstock or ink to match perfectly is super easy. ‘

The Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper even has a sheet of tags and rectangles with pre-printed scenes on them.

This card is entirely put together with different patterns from the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper pack. The only stamping is the Happy Birthday sentiment. If you would rather write than stamp, this card could be created with no stamping at all.

If we can count the airplane as a car/truck then I have a tic tac toe. It is a vehicle. If not, no tic tac toe, but make sure you head to the challenge page to enjoy the other entries.

Tic Tac Toe–Top column: Masculine, Red/Blue, Car/Truck

If we call Happy Birthday a Masculine Sentiment then Tic Tac Toe made diagonally–Masculine, Free, Masculine Sentiment and right column–Car/Truck, Brads/Metallic, Masculine Sentiment.
