Birthday hugs
Every birthday should be a celebration. We are celebrating another year of life for the birthday boy/girl. No matter what the past year has brought for them, a birthday is still a celebration. If you do nothing else, a birthday is a time to send love and birthday hugs.
And, if you can’t give your hug in person, send your hug in a card.
How do you celebrate birthdays?
Card Details
Do you love the look of line image stamps, but don’t really like coloring them in? I want to help turn your crafting stress into success. Here’s another option for you. Choose a cardstock to add color and just stamp your lined image in a darker hue of that same color.
I personally haven’t seen many cute badger stamps/images out there. Especially not those that are hugging and look perfect on a card with hearts. But here they are! Part of the Hearts & Hugs stamp set.
When your featured image is the same color as the background of your card, add a frame of a different color to make your featured image stand out.
This card is entered in the As You Like It: Favorite Paperbrand challenge. My favorite paperbrand is Stampin’ Up!®. The patterns of their Designer Series Paper are gorgeous enough to create a card with no stamping needed. But, my absolute favorite thing about Stampin’ Up!® paper is that the colors coordinate perfectly with all other products of the same name: cardstocks, designer series paper, inks, ribbon, embellishments. It makes choose card elements simple.

This is really sweet, Angel! I love that you used the bokeh paper to dye cut the hearts and to use as a background! It works so perfectly! And I’ve always loved those huggy animals! Thanks for using our colour palette at As You See It Challenges.
Thanks Heather! I love when patterned paper makes fun dies.
