Choir of Angels

I am a bit obsessed with turning the Detailed Dove Dies detailed wings into angel wings. That is the first thing I saw when I saw the dies in the Detailed Dove Die set. I can’t unsee it now. I’m having a great time making Christmas cards with angels celebrating the birth of the newborn king.

Angels have always been an important part of my life. Could be because that IS my name. 🙂 I got the first angels in my collection as baby gifts right after my birth and my collection of decorative angels has grown throughout the years. When I was in High School, I even wrote a term paper on the existence of angels which I then adapted and turned into my oration speech for Forenics (Drama and Forensics).

I always wanted to play an angel in Christmas plays and even have wings and a halo that I can wear when I dress up at Halloween.

Music has also been a huge part of my life and the thought of singing angels just lifts my spirits and makes my eyes sparkle.

Until now, I’ve only added one, singular angel to my cards. This week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge inspired me to try to add more than one angel. This card represents the angel choir.

I can’t decide which I like better, one angel or the multitude. How about you? Which is your favorite?

When I think back to my own singing, I think I preferred being part of a choir more than singing as a lone soloist. There is just something to be said about the harmony and majesty of a multitude of voices singing together. Plus, I really enjoyed the comradery of making music and singing with my friends. So, for the experience, I think I prefer a choir of angels. But, I still don’t know which card I like better.
