Christmas Already? Why Not?

Christmas cards already? Why not? Believe it or not we are about halfway through 2020 already. With the way the year is going, I am ready to just fast-forward to the end and a fresh start with a New Year. Who’s with me?

I do feel like this year is speeding by faster than most. Maybe it’s because things are so different this year. Maybe it’s because weeks don’t have the natural rhythm I’ve been used to and it’s a lot harder to tell one day from the next. On one hand, time feels like it’s moving slowly and a day feels more like a thousand hours instead of 24. On the other hand, I checked and it was mid-March and I was heading to the Ms. Wheelchair Kansas Crowning Ceremony and suddenly it’s already mid-June and I’m not sure how that happened. My kids never went back to school after Spring Break, prom didn’t happen, High School Graduation was virtual and celebrated at home, a 16th birthday in early June was celebrated with family only–none of the milestone moments I use to mark the passing of time were the same, so how is it possible we are already in mid-June?

Do you feel the same way?

Well, it may only be mid-June, but it is definitely time for me to start thinking Christmas cards anyway. July starts my six-month Christmas card club. Usually they start in-person the first week of the month. I’m still working out details, but I do know at least the beginning of the Christmas Card Club will look a little different. Make sure you’re on my email list to keep up with the details.

It was fun to think Christmas while creating this card. I know the silver glimmer paper is not available in the catalog at the moment, so if you wanted to create this card for yourself and don’t have silver glimmer paper, you could either use silver foil, or get some of the new rainbow glimmer paper to cut out your stars.

Believe it or not demonstrators get a sneek peak at the August-December mini catalog next week and then we get to start pre-ordering our holiday stuff in July. If you can’t wait to get your hands on holiday products, this is a great time to join my team. If you join in June, you get to add the bundle of your choice to your starter kit in addition to the already great deal. Then, in July you could pre-order from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog with your demonstrator discount and save yourself some money on all your holiday card and other paper product needs.

I didn’t have Tranquil Tide so I used Pretty Peacock instead.
