Christmas Tacos

Christmas tacos? Why not? Tacos are good any day of the year. In fact, as I create with this stamp set, I often find myself craving tacos and my stomach starts growling. Does that happen to you?

What do you plan for Christmas dinner? Do you have traditions? Is it:

  • Turkey
  • Roast Beef
  • Beef Wellington
  • Steak
  • Plum Pudding
  • Fruitcake
  • Christmas Cookies

Is your stomach growling yet?

Why not add tacos to your Christmas Day or Christmas Eve dinner plans this year?

Inside of card with stamped image of burrito with a happy face, wearing a green elf hat. Sentiment says "All is merry & bright,"

I do have a question for you all? Do tacos in your part of the world look like the one on the cover of this card? Or the one on the inside? Or both?

Red Christmas card with three stamped characters on white paper squares framed in green. Characters are a cactus colored green wearing a red elf hat, a taco with a moustache wearing a Santa hat, and a red pepper wearing a green elf hat. All characters have stamped faces. The sentiment says 'merry Christmas."

Card Details

Last week’s card showed how to add color to your lined images without actually using coloring tools or time. What if you love to color? What if it relaxes you? This card is made using only stamps, ink, paper, and coloring tools. It was created using colored cardstock, but could be recreated using only white paper, stamps, black ink, and the coloring tools of your choice. If you love to color, add the color yourself. If you don’t, leave it black and white and maybe your recipient will want to color in the images. I want to help you turn your crafting stress into success.

There are so many cute options for faces in the Taco Fiesta stamp set. I have difficulty seeing which stamps will create which facial expression, so it’s always a fun surprise. But, no matter what, I know they’re going to be cute.

I think giving these images faces makes me less likely to want to eat them. What about you?

The santa and elf hats can be cut from wherever you can find them.

  • stamped images
  • coloring books
  • other cards
  • Memories and More kits

I found these in the retired Santa’s Workshop memories and more pack. Don’t they look perfect paired with these cute characters?

Let me know what you think about Christmas tacos? Do they seem to pair well together? Are you going to add tacos to you holiday menu this year?
