Christmas Wreath that Sparkles
I wanted to create another Christmas Card today for the Paper Players challenge this week. I used the Tidings of Christmas DSP to create the different panels on the card front. Then then featured element is a wreath from the Seasonal Swirls Dies. The wreath is created with three layers. Bottom layer is the fall wreath in Kraft paper with the leaves cut off, leaving only the branches. The top two layers are the pine branches and holly leaves, one cut with Soft Succulent Cardstock, the other in Evening Evergreen.
To the top wreath layer I added Evening Evergreen holly leaves and red rhinestone holly berries. I also added additional sparkle with some heat embossed gold stars both on the outside and inside of the card.
Christmas definitely needs some sparkle in my world–twinkling lights, stars, etc. The sparkling star shone brightly in the sky that first Christmas night, so it only makes sense to have sparkles in our celebrations.
