Die Cut and Embossed Leaves

I heard that the overnight low will be dropping 10-20 degrees next week. I cheered when I heard that. I’m ready for fall–cooler temperatures, beautiful fall leaves, the time of year the Regal color family is featured in nature as well as on my cards.

This card features the feeling of fall and several of my very favorite techniques. The bottom layer has heat embossed leaves and ink blended yellow and oranges with three stripes of Pumpkin Pie ink blended on top.

The die cut detailed leaves may be my favorite dies in the Intricate Leaves Dies set. I couldn’t decide what occasion I needed a card for, so I stamped a generic “hello” sentiment on the front and plan to add something more specific to the inside later. This could be a great card for anything.
