Double Diagonal Fun Fold Card

September 2022 has five Thursdays, which means five video tutorials this month instead of four. For the bonus fifth video, we’re making a fun fold. This is a double diagonal fun fold card made out of a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock.

Fun fold cards multiply the level of fun during creation and the plan is it increases the level of fun for the recipient. Fun fold cards are even more fun when they fold down to standard card size and fit into a standard envelope. What a fun surprise to expect a “normal” card and find a fun fold extraordinary card instead.

Card Details

Both diagonal flaps are decorated with different patterns of Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper. The top diagonal flap is decorated with a die cut pumpkin and sentiment label.

With the double diagonal fun fold, you open the top diagonal flap to reveal the second diagonal flap. When you open that up, you have revealed the inside of the card where you can write a special note. You can also stamp something along the right side of the card interior to see it peeking out even when the card is closed.
