Double Zig-Zag Congratulations

I found this Fancy Fold idea on Pinterest and couldn’t wait to try it. Then, the challenge this week for Just Add Ink was Just Add a Fanc Fold and I knew I had to create this card for this challenge.

The card is already gorgeous when it is closed with the belly band. But when the belly band is taken off, the card begins to open up and you can see the hearts, flowers, and butterflies on the inside.

The card is decorated with the paper patterns from In Good Taste DSP that are based on knitted fibers. They remind me of the baby blanket that I loved and carried around during the first years of my life and one of my daughter’s baby blankets.

This is a Congratulations card and although it could be used for any number of events that deserve a congratulations card, I can’t unsee the baby blankets so I think this is Congratulations card for a new baby.
