Dragonfly Thank You

This has been a year. It’s not one I’d like to repeat any time soon. But one thing that I’d like to keep from this year is the way people have been expressing gratitude and thanks. Have you been surprised by anyone’s expressions of thanks lately? How have you been showing thanks to others?

This card is an example of an expression of thanks to a friend with some of the imagery of springtime. Dragonflies and dandelions may not be your favorite symbols of spring, but any sign of spring brings hope and the cycle of new life. Springlike temperatures mean more time outside enjoying nature and the beauty of spring colors, warm breezes, the sounds of insects buzzing and birds singing and things that have been dormant for winter begin to show signs of life again. Spring may also mean more time outside where you can wave at neighbors and talk across the street. Human connection is beginning to slowly increase. What about you? Have you noticed any positive changes around you lately? What does spring mean to you? What does this spring mean to you?

This card expresses thanks to a friend for their kindness. It also shows the beginning of greenery popping up with dragonflies punched out from the Designer Series Paper buzzing around the dandelions. The strip of green leaves was dry embosses. If you look closely, you can see embossed leaves, flowers, and butterflies.
