Project Details

Want to make fun gift packaging with no cutting or gluing involved? I want to help turn your crafting stress into success. Check out this fun treat package made with a single piece of patterned paper.

  • Take a square piece of patterned paper. These were made with a 6″x6″ piece of Unbounded Beauty DSP.
  • Fold 1/2″ of one end over to create top strip of different pattern.
  • Flip paper over so pattern you want on the outside is now facing the table.
  • Fold both side in towards middle so they are overlapping a little bit.
  • Tuck folded over strip on top folded over side under the other folded over strip.
  • Fold up bottom of paper and tuck under the 1/2″ border.
  • Now, take your folded up project and take the opening and pinch it closed the other direction.
  • Crease the papers to help create triangles coming from centers of opening.

This project was created with Stampin’ Up! Challenges 374: Color Challenge in mind. I added a strip of Soft Sea Foam cardstock to the turned over edge of the DSP to keep the project within the color parameters of the challenge. Please create your own card/project using the colors from SUOC374 and join us. This challenge will remain open through Sunday, April 27. Join us at SUOC374.
