Favorite Papercrafting Project

What is your favorite papercrafting project? Did you say cards? Me too. OK, what is your second favorite? For me it is gift packaging. Even if I am handing you something as boring as a package of Kleenex, it can still be fun with some creative packaging.

That is the exact reason I wanted to play with the Notes & Totes Bundle. Not only is it meant to create gorgeous cards, it included a die to make personalized fun gift bags.

You can create your bag with the patterned paper and colors to personalize it specifically for your gift recipient.

Red and white marbled diecut tote bag with gold flecks. It has a red bottom, straps, and handles with gold fasteners.

Project Details

The tote made on the Facebook LIVE video of the week used Marbled Elegance DSP with the bottom of the bag, straps, and handles made with Cherry Cobbler cardstock. There were even gold clasps added to the handle for an extra special detail.

Additional Die Cut Details

  • Small gold triangle detail
  • Two different types of handles
  • Add straps or not
  • Envelope pocket
  • Add clasps to handles or not

How would you personalize your bag?

Five totes created with die cuts. 1. Green with darker green leaves creating ovals. Gold straps, handles, and triangle logo. 2. Crumbcake woven bag with dark brown bottom and handles. 3.. Red and white marble bag with gold bottom, handles, and pocket. 4. Gold bag with white flowers. Red straps, bottom, and handles with gold fasteners. 5. Red and white marble tote with red bottom, straps, and handles with gold fasteners.
