Floral inspiration

Today’s card was made for the Stampin’ Up!® Only Challenge 378. This was an inspiration challenge. What really inspired me were the flowers so it led to this floral inspiration card.

Do flowers inspire you? How do you choose to add them to your projects?

Blue card with cream embossed strip with flowers. The focal image is a blue square with gold streaks. Diecut pink flowers are on the top left corner of the square. There is a tall white vase with blue and gold flowers and a pink bowl with gold flowers. The sentiment is stamped under the patterned paper square and says, "There is beauty in your history."

How to add floral details to your card?

Use an embossing folder with flowers
Die cut a floral patterned paper into another object–in this case a vase
Cut out items that already have flowers from your patterned paper
Die cut flowers themselves to add to your project
Stamp flowers (This card has no stamped flowers, but it is an option)

This card was created for the Stampin’ Up!® Only Challenge 378: Inspiration Photo. The above photo is the one that inspired today’s card. The pitcher of flowers and tea cup inspired the vase and bowl that are the focal point die cuts.
