Girl Power
There was a Ms. Wheelchair Kansas board meeting this weekend and it really got me thinking about empowerment, girl power, and how much more we can accomplish together.
The women at Ms. Wheelchair Kansas have been a support and sisterhood for me even since I joined the wheelchair community and discovered this amazing organization.
I personally can say I’ve never experienced any organization or group of people that better embody the idea of girl power. With the addition of the Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas program in 2015 brought even more girl power into this program.
Ms Wheelchair Kansas mission
“The Ms. Wheelchair Kansas program will annually select one woman, who is wheelchair mobile, that will successfully advocate, educate, and empower all people on a state level.”
If that isn’t an example of girl power, I don’t know what is. My favorite part of the Ms. Wheelchair organization is the way a sisterhood develops. The reigning Ms. Wheelchair Kansas, former titleholders, volunteers, etc. all support and encourage each other.

Card Details
This card is a mixture of a couple of challenges. It was created for the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #310: Monochrome. The color used for this card was Parakeet Party.
The card base itself is a pre-printed notecard from the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes. I also used Parakeet Party for the ink and cardstock used on this card as well as the addition of Decorative Dots.
This card was also created for PPC485: CASE the Catty with a Twist. Here is the card I chose to CASE. You can find it in the Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog on page 39.
Check out the stamp of the girls representing “girl power” on the inside of this card.
