Happy Hanukkah
I know it’s the wrong time of year for Hanukkah. I know you will not be sending Hanukkah cards now, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make one, right? And, Rainbows of Happiness is my featured stamp set this month, so it has really been on my mind.
When I looked at a Menorah, I couldn’t help but see an upside down rainbow. That started the process of figuring how to create a menorah using the rainbow stamps. I created a menorah by silver heat embossing the rainbow, cutting it out and adhering it upside down with a die creating the silver middle post of the menorah. The flames are cut out of retired DSP.
I love creating unique, out-of-the-box cards with my stamp set. Did you think Hanukkah when you saw rainbows?

What a clever way to use the rainbow. A lovely clean and simple card. Thanks for joining in with us at Just Add Ink this week.
Thanks Lou. Once I saw a menorah with that set I knew I had to create a Hanukkah card.
