Happy Thanksgiving Gratitude Jar

Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for all of you and the ways you have blessed my life. Today’s project is not a card. It is a fun 3D project perfect for my thanksgiving table. Everyone wrote down something they were thankful for . This has been a year, but everyone a my Thanksgiving table did not struggle to think of a blessing to write down.

The benefit of waiting to create until Thanksgiving morning, is that my Dad was around to help me wrap my bright blue pickle jar lid with a more subtle crumb cake. He also cut a slit in the lid for me so we can drop our gratitude slips into the jar without opening the lid. Thanks Dad!!

I think this jar is going to sit on my table for a long time-maybe forever. It is a good thing for us to be reminded to count our blessings and even write them down. Maybe I’ll just change the belly band to match my seasonal decor.

Stay tuned to see what happens.
