Layering Ink Blending Flowers

I knew I wanted to create a card using the Butterfly & Flower Layered Masks, but I wasn’t quite sure about the rest of the design. When I saw that tic, tac, toe challenge for this week had a stencil square, I was excited and planned the rest of the card based on tic, tac, toe.

I decided to make a fun fold card with three panels with the center panel opening up for another sentiment and place to write a message. I used the background masks to create a floral image all over the top and inside layers of the card. I also create roses and other flowers that I fussy cut to put on top of the card and blended directly on the inside layer and back of the card.

I was thrilled to play with the layered masks and blending brushes. They make such a soft, beautiful floral image. Next up–the layered butterfly masks.

Tic Tac Toe made with bottom row: flowers, fun fold, stencil. I triend to make a tic, tac, toe with center row: embossing, pink or purple, fun fold, but my clear embossing powder wasn’t embossing and I really wanted the sentiment to be Polished Pink.
