Live In Person
Throughout most of my high school and college days, I looked forward to hearing one thing on the weekend. You knew you’d survived another hard week and were in for some fun and relaxation when you heard, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night.”
We live in a time when things are now available for us to enjoy virtually in live time. And, that’s been such a blessing and life saver during the pandemic when we weren’t have in person events. I don’t know about you, but I’ve missed sitting across the table from other crafters and in the same room with hundreds of like minded crafting friends.
Zoom and other live videos have filled the gaps and allowed us to continue interaction, albiet virtually. The sense of excitement and relief that we were able to be live in person again was palpable. I’ve missed travel. I’ve missed these live events.
We attended OnStage in Arlington, Texas and extended our own live crafting fun which ended with the Stampin’ Up! event. We met our crafting friends from California, Texas, and Kansas and shared an AirBNB for the weekend.
Friday, white the rain poured outside our windows, we spent the day enjoying laughter, friendship, and crafting. We spent hours doing shoebox swaps and creating cards we each had designed and brought supplies across the country. We had each also made a 3D gift that we drew names and swapped. I received a gorgeous handmade box with dimensionals inside. Plus, a couple of gifts with sweet treats from others.

There were lots of presentations of upcoming new products from the January-April 2023 catalog and January-February 2023 Saleabration. Stampers that travelled from far and wide to come to OnStage in Texas brought cards and 3D items to swap and share ideas.
