New Products = Newly Inspired Creativity

I opened my box of products from the new Stampin’ Up! July-December catalog and July-August Saleabration and creativity just started happening? Does that ever happen to you? You have new toys to play with and suddenly it seems like the creative part of your brain is turned up high?

But, what if you haven’t had new products in awhile? What if you don’t want to buy anything new? What if your birthday and Christmas are too far away and you won’t be receiving crafting products as gifts for quite awhile?

Then what? How do you spark creativity if you don’t have new products to play with?

Finding Creativity

Look at the new catalog and use what you have to make a similar card
Be inspired by colors and shapes around you and go to your craft space and see what you can create using those same colors and shapes
Get one small new product and challenge yourself to use it on what you are creating
Challenge yourself to use a product you already have in a new and different way or for a different season

New Products Inspired Creativity

When I started playing with these new Saleabration products, my creativity was on hyper drive. My original design plan got changed as I was learning how the new dies would work.

Here is the final product. I hope you enjoy this card. It is recognizable as similar to the original design in my brain, but I had such a great time adjusting this card and I learned more about my new products.
