Polaroid from Heaven

First published on angelstamps1.blogspot.com on November 7, 2019

The minute I saw the sketch for this week’s challenge, I instantly started thinking of Polaroid pictures.  It’s been awhile since I’ve had the please of shaking a picture as I waited for the image to form, but we’ve been having a bit of fun around here lately with new models of instant cameras that print your picture out as soon as it’s taken.    Thinking about Polaroids and Christmas cards at the same time got me wondering what would have happened if the shepherds had a Polaroid camera that first Christmas night.  Here is the image I imagined.

The angel and the sentiment were heat embossed with Copper embossing powder to match the copper stars on the Designer Series Paper.  The swirls in the sky were stamped using Seaside Spray and Purple Posy.  Purple Posy ink and refill has now been discontinued and is no longer available.  You can still order the paper and embellishments in that color, but the ink was just not able to meet quality standards.

Make sure you head over to CTS #346 to see the inspiration cards by the design team and other creative entries.
