Ready for Spring

Are you ready for spring? I know I am. But according to Punxsutawney Phil, we are looking at 6 more weeks of winter. YUCK!!! I guess if you look at the bright side, that’s six more weeks to cuddle up under a blanket with a good book.

Favorite Signs of Spring

  • warmer weather
  • sunshine
  • flowers
  • green grass and fields
  • beautiful soft colors
  • new life
  • butterflies
  • blossoming trees
  • baseball
  • track and field

What signs of spring do you look forward to each year?

I guess if Punxsutawney Phil is correct, I’ll just have to create my own signs of spring inside my warm house in my craft room. Will you do the same?

Blue card with patterned paper card front with flowers. White butterfly with stamped blue background circle in top right. White plant with stamped green background circle on bottom right. Diecut thanks sentiment in center of card.

Card Details

Today’s card showcases more gorgeous patterned paper from Stampin’ Up! The Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper is gorgeous enough to be used alone on a card. But it’s even more gorgeous with some additions.

Images from the Amazing Silhouette stamp set are stamped, cut out with circle dies and added to the corners of the patterned paper.

Next, thanks is cut out from the Amazing Thanks dies and added to the middle of the front of the card.

Here’s another card created using the same products.

Green card with background paper with color splotches in greens and tan. White butterfly with stamped yellow background circle at top right. Tree with green background stamped at bottom left. Sentiment dies, "You Are Amazing."

Which of these cards is your favorite?

  1. Thank you for sharing a bit of spring with us at The Paper Players, Angel! Your card is lovely – if Phil had seen your happy card when first popping out of his hole, we would all be awaiting an early spring! Xoxo, Fran
