Red, White, and Blue

What color combination do you think of in the summer? For me it’s red, white, and blue. From Memorial Day through July at least that is the color combination on my mind.

That is also the color combination for the SUO Challenge 355. I knew I wanted to create an American flag card, but I had two designs in min and couldn’t decide. So, I made both.

Which is your favorite?

Red card made to look like an American flag with white layer with the upper left corner with blue stars created from a stencil and red striped patterned paper creating the red stripes on the flag. A blue die cut word "Celebrate" is added to the bottom of the flag.

  1. Gosh both fab cards celebrating Memorial Day, I like my watercolouring so I like the most the loose stripes on the 2nd card. Thanks for playing and sharing with us at Tic Tac Toe and Happy 4th for you when it happens.

    1. Thanks Karen. The Designer Series Paper stripes was the first idea I had, but I couldn’t help but make both.
