Shining Stars

The colors for the Paper Players challenge this week inspired some Christmas packaging. I decided I didn’t want to use the pillow box with the polka dot design on the outside of the box. So, I very carefully unsealed the box and turned it inside out and resealed it to create the kraft only outside of the box. Whoever gets this gift will find a surprise snowing all over their gift.

The seaside spray and silver make amazing glittery stars. Walking outside into a clear, crisp, star filled evening, seeing the glimmering silvery stars, is experiencing Holiness.

  1. What a great idea! I never thought to turn the box inside out to create a plain one! Love your packaging idea, the ribbon is divine! Thanks for playing with my colors this week at the Paper Players!

    1. Thanks Leanne. I thought the plain craft would work better for this packaging than the polka dots. Glad you liked it.

  2. How lovely to see you in the gallery this week Angel! Your packaging is super pretty and I love your clever trick of reversing the pillow box to get a plain outer kraft layer without the polka dot pattern. Who wouldn’t want to receive something packaged as beautifully as this?! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
