Sneak Peek: Birthday Roses

This week I’ve been doing some reading about color theory. I’ve been learning about what different colors are supposed to represent and the feelings they are supposed to evoke. But, even with all that research, I’ve also been spending time thinking about what colors make me feel.

The colors I used on this card happen to be the colors that I am drawn to. According to my reading, purple represents majesty, spirituality, mystery, and royalty. Seems about right to me. I do put my stamp on the back of my cards saying I’m the Queen of Crafting. 🙂

Blue says you are trustworthy and reliable. It also has a calming effect and sometimes represents feeling “blue” or sad.

What do you think? What are the feelings you get when you look at this card? Is it calming and mysterious? Does it make you believe that I really wish you a happy birthday?
