Sweet as Honey

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. This is the perfect time to let someone know you think they’re sweet as honey. But, Valentine’s Day is not the only time to express that.

In fact, if Valentine’s Day is the only time you let them know that, they probably won’t believe you. If you think someone is sweet as honey, you need to let them know other time as well, and many, many times so they don’t forget.

Times to tell someone they’re as sweet as honey

  • Their birthday
  • Your birthday
  • Anniversary
  • Groundhog Day
  • Valentine’s day
  • Any random Tuesday
  • When they get a promotion, good grade, reward
  • When they’re having a bad day
  • At breakfast
  • At lunch
  • At supper
  • On a date
  • When you’re just sitting watching your favorite show
  • When you’re sitting watching their favorite show
  • Today
  • And tomorrow
  • And every day after that

Card Details

Do you want to try something a little different with your patterned paper besides making an entire card front layer? Why not try adding it to part of the card front and stamping a tone on tone coordinating image on the other part. You still get an interesting background layer, but this one is unique to you.

Do you want to highlight words in your sentiment a different color than the rest of the sentiment? There are a couple of ways to make that happen.

You could stamp the sentiment several times, each in a different color. Then, cut out the word you’d like to highlight in the different color. Next, glue it over the same word on the sentiment you’re planning to adhere to the card.

Or, use the markering technique and color each word of your sentiment the color you would like it to end up. Then, stamp once for a multi-colored sentiment.

Which technique do you think I used? Check out the video tutorial below to find out for sure.
