Team Colors
It was time to make a card using team colors. But, which team? How was I going to choose? My own high school? My kids’ high school? College I or my kids attended? College teams I root for during sports seasons? NFL? NBA? MLB? NHL? How will I every choose?
Did you know that National College Colors Day is this Friday? That narrowed it down for me, but not all the way. During football season, I’m an OU fan. During basketball season KU and WSU. What to do?
I have a very hard time rooting for teams in red. Which is ironic if you look at two of my favorite college teams. 🙂 But I consider OU maroon, not really red and my KU shirts are all grey or blue. 🙂 If you are a Norton Bluejay, you’ll understand my aversion to red.
That leaves Wichita State University which is yellow, black and gray. So, may I present my yellow, black, and gray card giving you a sneak peek of some of the products coming in the September-December 2024 Stampin’ UP!® catalog. These products will be available when the new catalog goes live on September 4.
Plus this card has a nod to WSU other than the colors. The framed images are shocks of wheat in honor of the Wichita State University Shockers.
What are your favorite team’s colors?
