Video: Slimline Snowflake Christmas
Slimline cards seem to be all the rage right now. I see them popping up everywhere and I love the thought of a new shape of card. It’s a similar appeal to fun fold cards or square cards–it’s different than what you might expect.
My biggest concern with slimline cards was having them fit in envelopes for mailing purposes. I could make my own envelope. But, sometimes I just don’t want to. Standard Stampin’ Up! envelopes don’t fit slimline cards. And, although I could hand deliver a slimline card with a gift–hand delivering anything especially right now is just not happening.
The good news is, I figured out the dimensions to have this card fit into a business size envelope, so it can easily be mailed with a standard postage stamp (at least in the U..S.)
Here are the dimensions I used:
- Card base 9 1/4″ x 8″ folded in half to make card 9 1/4″ x 4″
- Whisper White front layer 9 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
- Snowflake Spendor Designer Series Paper layer 9″ x 3 3/4″
