What Anchors Your Soul?
What anchors your soul? What is the definition of an anchor? There are actually several different definitions, but I think dictionary.com says it best with this possible definition: “a person or thing that can be relied on for support, stability, or security; mainstay”
What Is Your Anchor?
So, what is your anchor? The definition says a person can by your anchor, but I’ve never found a human that can manage that job. Humans might want to move your anchor or just let go of the rope occasionally. When you depend solely on humans to keep you anchored, you might find yourself floating with the current one day without warning.
Who is your anchor?
God is the only One who will anchor our souls and not let go. There is nothing that will distract Him into moving our anchor or letting go. The only reason you might find yourself floating with the current is if you untie the anchor from your end. God will not let go.
Sometimes we still need a reminder that we’re safe and God’s got us.
Card Details
This card is created using the Tea Boutique Notecards & Envelopes. The notecards and envelopes themselves are already decorated. All it takes it a few finishing touches to the front and your card is beautifully done and ready to encourage someone.
They’re a little hard to find in this photo, but I did add Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems to add some texture and that touch of something extra special.
I also stamped an anchor inside the card. Just an extra reminder to anchor your soul.
What anchors your soul? When God anchors your soul remember you are safe. He’s not letting go.
