Who Says Coloring Is Just for Kids?
Who says coloring is just for kids? If you can’t do it as a grown-up, then I don’t want to grow up. Coloring is for everyone.
Markers added color to the project below–both alcohol blending markers and standard water based ink markers. That was the medium used for this card. But there are lots of options for coloring on your projects.

What is your favorite coloring tool?
Coloring is for all ages and you can find coloring books for all levels. From simple to intricate; you pick what fits your mood that day. Coloring is a simple, relaxing activity. Yet, your brain is involved enough in choosing colors and creating that you can stay focused and hone in on that one relaxing activity for awhile.
Give it a try.
Card Details
Color was added in lots of places on this card.
- Markers colored the trees on the black and white background paper
- Markers added color to the door and stack of gifts.
- Markers added to color the tree after it was heat embossed with gold embossing powder
The tree was trimmed (cut) to look like it was inside the room and you could only see part of it through the doorway. Then, it was trimmed (decorated) by gold embossing the stamped image and adding iridescent rhinestones.
Opening the door to a stack of Christmas gifts would be amazing! What would be even better is opening it to see someone I loved with those gifts.
