Wildlife Floating Gatefold Card

Are you always on the look out for masculine cards? Do you sit down to create a card for a guy in your life and not know where to start? The men in my life are mostly lovers of wildlife so it is perfect to create a card for them using the Wildlife Wonder stamp set.

When I saw the sketch for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week, I knew instantly I wanted to create a floating gatefold card. I’m not quite sure why that is where my brain went, but it did. Floating gatefold cards are really a lot of fun and much easier than I thought it would be.

The best part is the inside where the floating elements are placed. All you have to be careful of is that they don’t overlap or stick out of the closed card. Otherwise, you can use whatever shapes and sizes of floating elements you want.

And, then when you open the card, SURPRISE!!!! Fun floating animals pop up and add some fun to your card.
