Written On Your Heart

The heart is the symbol of love and Valentine’s Day. This stamp makes me think of something being “written on your heart.” I think if something is written on my heart it not only means I remember it or know it well, it also means it impacts my decisions, thoughts, and behaviors. What do you think it means?

What’s written on this heart is Valentine’s Day. What would it mean to have Valentine’s Day written on your heart? Maybe love, romance, flowers, candy? What says Valentine’s Day to you?

Making this card and writing the blog post about it got me to thinking about all the phrases we use about hearts:

  • Written on my heart
  • Touched my heart
  • Wearing my heart on my sleeve
  • Pouring out my heart
  • Heart-broken
  • Heart-sick
  • Heartfelt
  • Close to my heart
  • From the bottom of my heart

What are some others you use or have heard used?
