You’re a Star

The Tic, Tac, Toe challege this week instantly made me think of back to school cards. That and the fact that my son went back to High School last week and I’ve been seeing lots of first day of school pics on Facebook. Ironically, fpr ,my back to school card, I didn’t use any of the tic tac toe squares that were iconic back to school items. No bookworm, pens or pencils, or ABCs (unless you count the fact that there are letters in my sentiment). 🙂

But, I still feel this card has a back to school feel to it. I think everyone needs an encouragement card daily, whether they’re headed to school or not. OK, maybe we don’t need daily encouragement cards, but we do need daily encouragement. We need to leave our home (or at least our bedroom) thinking it’s a GREAT day and GREAT things are going to happen. We need to be encouraged to reach for the stars and stay our awesome selves. We all need to be encouraged to reach for our goals and do our best.

I don’t care how old you are, whether this is your first day at a new school, a new grade, an old school, a new job, the same job you’ve been doing for years. We all need a bit of encouragement to believe in ourselves, do our absolute best, and never give up or settle for less.
