Starry Night

Do you get to experience the magic of a starry night sky where you live? Is there somewhere close to you when the sun goes down that the only lights around you are those you choose to turn on or the stars and moon sparkling in the sky?

Have you ever noticed the variation of colors in the night sky? It’s not all black or dark blue. It’s not just one shade. What colors can you find?

Today is World Listening Day. Have you ever sat outside under the starry sky just listening to the sounds of nature around you? Do you have somewhere you can listen to the sounds of nature without the interference of city noises? Do you have somewhere to see the stars without the interference of artificial light?

If your everyday life doesn’t have a place to enjoy the magesty of the night sky, try to find a place. If not tonight, make a plan to find a place soon, maybe this weekend or your next day off. Enjoy the night sky and the sounds of nature.

Card Details

Do you have a favorite color, but are not sure what colors work well with it? I’m here to turn your crafting stress into success.

Choosing a Color Combination

  • Choose your favorite color
  • Find a patterned paper using your favorite color
  • Use the other colors from the pattered paper for other elements of your card.

This card started with my favorite color–Blackberry Bliss as a card base. Next, a pattern from Stargazing DSP was chosen that had Blackberry Bliss in the pattern. Then, other colors were chosen based on the other colors in the patterned paper. This card uses Starry Sky for the top rectangle where the sentiment is heat embossed in silver.

Starry Sky ink is used for the stars on the inside of the card.

The color combination chosen for this card was: Blackberry Bliss, Starry Sky, Night of Navy, and Silver
