Storybook Wishes

This weekend was the Ms. Wheelchair Kansas weekend which culminated in the crowning of the 2025 Ms. Wheelchair Kansas titleholders–Ms. Wheelchair Kansas, Junior Miss, and Little Miss. Their storybook wishes came true this weekend. They entered the crowning ceremony in beautiful gowns and left with a crown on their heads.

But, that is just the beginning of their story, not the end. Ms. Wheelchair Kansas’ mission of Ms. Wheelchair Kansas is to advocate, educate, and empower all people on a state level. They will be spending the year travelling the state spreading their message and advocating, educating, and empowering all people regardless of age, gender, abilities, etc.

To learn more about the program and contact the coordinator to request a visit from a titleholder or two or three, check out mswheelchairkansas.org.

Here are the messages each titleholder will focus on this year:

Ms. Wheelchair Kansas 2025–Autumn Bertels = Cultivating Accessibility for Education

Junior Miss Wheelchair Kansas 2025–Isabelle Einwich = Education Surrounding Disability

Little Miss Wheelchair Kansas 2025–Mia RoseAnn Gaumer
