Fifth Thursday Fun Fold
July had five Thursdays, so that means we got five projects with the featured stamp set of the month. We got a fifth Thursday fun fold.
Do you like making fun folds? They always stretch my creative muscles. I hope the recipient of the card can figure out how to open them. 😉 If they’re too complicated, I always wait until I can give those in person in case an explanation is needed.
But, I do think they’re fun.
Card Details
Do you like fun folds, but are a little intimidated by them? I want to help turn your crafting stress into success.
When creating this card, make sure you put it all together before attaching the Designer Series Paper to the card base. You could make the card base also open like a normal card. I chose to use just one piece of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ cardstock
Score both flaps so there is about one inch of cardstock to glue onto the back of the Designer Series Paper. Make sure before you glue them that the larger flap will cover your stamped sentiment underneath. Make sure the top flap is where to want it over the diecut on the bottom flap.
Once you have the flaps lined up exactly where you want them, glue them onto the DSP. Then, glue the DSP to the cardstock layer.

Great idea to use the sketch as a fancy fold. As you say, they’re always a challenge – but so good when they work. I like the way you’ve used such warm colours with the beach themed set. Thank you for joining in withe my sketch challenge at The Paper Players.
