Ms. Wheelchair America
This week is the Ms. Wheelchair America 2026 event week. There are 19 amazing women from different states across the country coming together this week in Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete for the title Ms. Wheelchair America 2026.
This is not your typical beauty pageant. While all these women are beautiful, this competition is about something deeper than outer beauty. The state titleholders all have a platform (or message) they have been sharing around their own state during this year. This week, they get to share with each other, learn together all week at different advocacy workshops, etc. and then see who will be the lucky woman who gets to take their platform message around the country this year.
It’s an amazing week of learning, growing, and developing a sisterhood with other wheelchair using women. The week of fun and learning culminates with a speech night on Friday where they each get to share a 2 minute speech about their platform and the crowing ceremony on Saturday night where Ms. Wheelchair America 2026 will be crowned. Both of these evenings will be live streamed on the Ms. Wheelchair America Facebook page. You can bet I will be watching.
If you’d like to learn more about Ms. Wheelchair America or how to watch the livestreams this week, check out their Facebook page.
Since Ms. Wheelchair Kansas is among those competing this week, I wanted to send her off the Michigan with a good luck card.

Card Details
Looking for a card that’s not your typical fold? Want a quick and easy fun fold card? I want to turn your stress into success. Try a book fold. Just score the front somewhere between 1/2″ and 1″ from the center. Then, glue that section of the front of the card.(from center fold to score line) to the back of the card.
SUO Challenge 383 inspired me to make a travel card. The products from the Stampin’ Up!® On the Go Suite Collection are perfect for a travel themed card. Travel is the perfect theme for a good luck card for the Ms. Wheelchair America competition. You must travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan for the competition. Then, if you are crowned Ms. Wheelchair America 2026, travel around the country fills your next year.

Products from the On the Go Suite collection not only decorated the outside of the card, but On the Go Designer Series Paper also decorated the inside of the card as well.
