Video: Dragonfly Christmas Card
I know I spent all of last year creating Christmas cards with the featured stamp set of the month on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Well, until about 30 minutes before this week’s video, I didn’t think that was going to happen. How was I going to create a Christmas card out of dragonflies? Then, suddenly right before I needed to get set up to go live, this design came to me. It just goes to show it is possible to make a Christmas card with any stamp set.
I started with a tag, which you can use alone as a gift tag. Just write the to/from information on the back. But, if you don’t want to use it as a gift tag, just make it the focal point of your card front. Any basic rhinestones or pearls could be used for the dragonfly bodies, but I thought the holiday rhinestones gave it a sparkle of Christmas. The ladybugs may not exactly be holiday themed, but they are so cute I thought they had to be included.
