For My Reader Friends

Why is it that when I think books, I tend to think cats? Does anybody else make that connection or is it just me? I do love books, but I have dogs not cats. I have experienced both a library with a library cate and a used bookstore with resident cats. They weren’t sure what to think when I would come shop and had my service dog with me. 🙂

What about you? Have you visited a library or book store with a resident cat?

Besides the cat, this card looks like my favorite relaxing day. A stack of books, my glasses, and a cup of something hot to drink, what could be better? Oh yeah, this card holds a matching bookmark.

This week’s Just Add Ink Challenge is a Just Pick Two. The two I chose are patterned paper and layers. Although I do think heat embossing adds texture as well.

I’m not sure the picture does is justice, but I also added some ink blending to the patterned paper and the inside of the card. Instead of white, there is some blended polished pink and pale papaya.
