Green Christmas Tree
Green Christmas tree made with 1/2″ strips of varying shades of green cardstock. The bottom strip is 2 1/2″ and each strip is 1/4″ shorter than the one below it. Creating images with strips of paper is one of my favorite things to do.
This tree was inspired by the tree on the cover of the book I am currently reading. I was inspired to not only create a tree out of paper strips but to also put mini dimensionals under one end of each strip, alternating ends to create an interesting look and depth.
I carried the look of green Christmas trees to the inside of the card as well.
