Sneak Peek of Upcoming Stamps and Paper to Heal your Heart

Today is World Prematurity Day.. As the parent of a preemie (who is now a 16 year old driving high school “man”) this day got me side tracked by memories. I found the cutest pictures of my children that sent me down the rabbit hole for a couple of hours while looking for the pic of my newborn preemie.

I also got to spend time going down memory lane reliving the beginning of my preemie son’s life. I don’t have a lot of memories from the time he was hooked up to all these tubes in the NICU since I was in the ICU at the same time. But, looking backwards through photos from his first six years of life, left me reliving lots of amazing memories of my sweet preemie boy. 🙂

This trip down memory lane inspired my card today. Some of the products coming up in the January-July 2021 Stampin’ Up! mini catalog were perfect for this card. The sentiment from the Heal Your Heart Stamp Set was perfect combined with a sentiment from the Comfort & Hope stamp set. The patterns and colors from the Fine Art Floral DSP were perfect for this card.

The upcoming Heal Your Heart stamp set also provided perfect sentiments for the inside of this card.

There are things in life for which the typical get well card just doesn’t express your concerns clearly enough. When faced with a chronic disease or disability sending someone a card telling them to “Get Well Soon” just doesn’t clearly express what you’re thinking and feeling.

Sometimes feeling physically better doesn’t mean you’re 100% better. Sometimes there is more healing that needs to happen in your heart.. No matter what you need, I’m here for you. We’ll get through whatever it is together.
